Pathway to Purpose is a ministry of Northern Light Church designed for men and women who are rebuilding their lives after incarceration, addiction, or other struggles. It’s a place to experience fellowship and faith without judgment — a place where the past doesn’t define your future.

Our goal is to help each person discover who they are in Christ and understand that no matter what they’ve done or where they’ve been, God still has a plan and purpose for their life. Every Monday at 7 PM, this service offers an opportunity to grow, worship, and connect in a safe and understanding environment.

Purpose of Mentorship

Mentorship is at the heart of Pathway to Purpose. It’s not counseling, sponsorship, or fixing anyone — it’s walking beside someone as a friend in faith. Mentors help create a bridge between isolation and belonging, guiding participants toward a genuine relationship with Jesus and the church family.

Mentors serve through presence, prayer, and consistency — not through money, favors, or control. The goal is to show grace, model accountability, and help each person experience the truth that God’s love is greater than their past.

If you feel called to stand beside those who are learning to start over, this ministry is where you can make an eternal difference — one life at a time.

*Note: This is an ADULT ONLY service.

We take mentorship seriously, as those serving in this role represent both Christ and Northern Light Church. Mentors must be spiritually mature, living lives that reflect biblical integrity and a genuine relationship with the Lord. While no one is perfect, we do expect mentors to demonstrate consistent sobriety, moral accountability, and faithfulness in both conduct and commitment. Our goal is to ensure that those guiding others are themselves walking in a way that honors God and builds trust.
