Some self-proclaimed “prophets” have been posting for weeks that the rapture would happen on September 23 and 24 (today and tomorrow). And here we are — still here. Why? Because the Bible already told us no one knows the day or the hour (Matthew 24:36). That means anyone who calls themselves “religious” and starts making predictions is either ignorant of God’s Word or deliberately manipulating people. Either way, it isn’t faithfulness, it’s foolishness.

The sad part is this: every time someone makes a prediction that doesn’t happen, mockers use it as an excuse to laugh at God. But don’t get it twisted — the joke isn’t on Him. One day you will stand before Him. Whether that’s when He returns or when your life ends, you will meet Him. If you’ve spent your life scoffing, you won’t be laughing then.

The Bible doesn’t tell us to chase dates. Jesus told us to be ready. That means living with holiness, mercy, and obedience today — not trying to crack some secret code about tomorrow. It means sharing the gospel, forgiving our enemies, serving our neighbors, and living with urgency because eternity is real. The true believer doesn’t need a calendar prediction; the true believer walks prepared.

If you’re someone who has been mocking God because of the failures of “religious” people, hear me: God isn’t the one who failed you. Humans fail. Humans mislead. Humans crave attention. But Jesus Christ has never failed, and His Word is solid. He doesn’t need predictions to prove He’s coming back. He simply said He is — and that’s enough.

So stop chasing rumors. Stop trading your soul for a date on a blog post or YouTube channel. Open the Bible. Read what God actually says. Repent of your sin. Trust in Christ. Live like today could be the day you meet Him, because one day, it will be.

And for those who mock instead of repent, I’ll pray for you. Because the truth is, one day you are out of here — and you will see.
