Introduction: The Wrestling Illustration

  • Nathan Jones (former WWE wrestler, actor) revealed how WWE pumped in fake crowd noise.
  • The crowd thought their reaction was real — but it was programmed.
  • Connection: The world does the same. If truth doesn’t move people, the enemy just turns up the noise until lies sound like truth.

1. The Enemy Has Always Used Noise

  • Genesis 3:1–5 — Satan’s first tactic: “Did God really say…?”
  • Israel: idols shouted louder than prophets.
  • Jesus’ day: Pharisees drowned Him out with traditions.
  • Today: technology, politics, media, entertainment — the noise never stops.
  • 2 Timothy 3:1–5 — Last days marked by arrogance, rebellion, unholiness.

2. Each Generation is More Conditioned to Noise

  • Past generations — fewer voices, clearer standards (Bible, family, church).
  • Today’s generation — thousands of voices, endless entertainment, confusion of truth.
  • Next generation — raised inside artificial applause, believing lies as truth.
  • 2 Thessalonians 2:10–11 — those who reject truth are given over to delusion.

3. Deafness to Truth

  • Amos 8:11–12 — a famine of hearing God’s Word.
  • 2 Timothy 4:3–4 — itching ears, turning away from truth, chasing myths.
  • People think they are choosing freely, but the chant has been programmed for them.
  • The more the world roars, the less God’s whisper is heard.

4. Why This Works for the Enemy

  • Satan doesn’t need to prove lies — just drown out truth.
  • The louder the chant, the less people think for themselves.
  • Matthew 7:13–14 — the wide gate is crowded and loud; the narrow gate is quiet and few find it.
  • The crowd will always roar louder for lies than for truth.

5. The Call for the Church

  • John 10:27 — “My sheep hear my voice… and they follow Me.”
  • We must train our ears to recognize truth in the middle of the roar.
  • Parents & leaders: teach the next generation to hear God’s Word above the world.
  • Romans 12:2 — do not conform, but be transformed by renewing your mind.

6. Closing Challenge

  • Each generation more distracted than the one before — so our urgency must grow.
  • The enemy is loud, but truth doesn’t need to scream — it only needs to be heard.
  • Question: Are you listening to the chant of the crowd, or the voice of Christ?
  • One day the crowd will fall silent, but Christ’s voice will remain: “Well done, good and faithful servant.” (Matthew 25:23)
