I just made a post in which we asked for prayers for Joslyn, a 14-year-old autistic girl who has finally been given access to a treatment that is showing incredible progress in her life. While we celebrate what God is doing for Joslyn, we are also reminded of how often politics and division stand in the way of people receiving the help they need. It is heartbreaking to think that doctors or politicians might withhold care simply because the “other side” promoted it. When it comes to human life, there should be no sides. Sadly, too often, we the people become pawns in the back and forth.
Let’s pray together for our leaders and healthcare providers—that hearts would be softened, that unity would rise above division, and that life and health would be valued as common ground we can all agree on.
Heavenly Father, we thank You for Joslyn’s progress and the hope it brings. We now lift up our leaders, healthcare providers, and decision makers. Lord, break down the walls of division that place politics above people. Soften hearts, give wisdom, and restore unity around the value of every human life. Let compassion lead the way, and may truth and mercy guide every choice that affects the health and well-being of others. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
